Today is My Day!

 

Today I did a thing, I haven't done in a while. 

I put myself first when the sun rose.

I read a couple books, washed my hair, 

Cleaned my room, and did my nails. 

Today I face the world

With a grateful, and happy outlook on life.

Tomorrow might be different, and that is alright. 

Today, I woke up and told the world, 

That, "Today is my day!"
