Battle Against Sin


We live in a broken world 

Torn apart by sin. 

Everywhere we turn,

We can see it seeping in. 

It is on our screens, 

Our town and city streets, 

In our schools and government, 

And everywhere we meet. 

It is a never-ending pest 

That crawls up from the cracks.

We battle it every day 

Knowing only God can win 

The battle against sin.
